Would look at opening chase ink for 100k UR points on spend. You’ll hit it easily.
Where are you doing the wedding/how many guests? Curious on the $50k.
150 guests will be our max invite
I’m not sure if things such as venue rental, and caterer would show up as “entertainment” or “restaurant” for points purposes. But if you can do a test charge for the food, and chase/Amex gives you 3x/4x I’d use that.
For a lot of miscellaneous non-bonus categories I’d consider the capital one venture X. You get two points per dollar, and a decent amount of transfer partners (but not as extensive as chase or Amex).
What do you have in mind for your honeymoon (something aspirational like flying business to New Zealand, or just flying to Europe in economy and staying where ever is cheapest?) I’d take that into consideration and see what points would best get you there. Points.aero is great for this and giving you ideas

Following along for the ride as we’re very much in the process of the same right now. Hit the $8k for the chase ink card a few weeks ago and have to scheme the next moves. Also expecting around $50k in spend
Isn’t Chase Ink only for business?
There’s ways to make this make sense - you can get a chase ink as a sole proprietor (could be photographer for wedding, florist, etc.). Feel free to dm if you have questions

Actively doing this right now for my wedding of a similar spend. Ink cards all the way! Feel free to DM for tips - sole proprietor is the way to go.
