I mean your bdr isn’t your sales people so maybe ask them why they aren’t closing deals
You want your product flying off the shelves? Maybe market it better, improve it, fix the price point or determine your ICP better. Otherwise, the sales grind will need to keep churning which takes time.
You need patience. Are they also cold calling?
We're not cold calling. We have relative success with the emails we're sending, we get to the demo/proposal stage but it just seems like everyone pulls out at the last second with budget concerns.
Making sure value of product is EXTREMELY important before ever discussing price. It sounds like more value props, resources, case studies, assets are needed to show value in action to show the need and then cost is not usually a factor of decision outside of the company getting it signed off for budget.
Are these 100 emails high targeted to specific people or is it a bucket of people from the same company/industry?
They're pretty specific - it's based off of their social activity usually on LinkedIn that use specific keywords.
Honestly, that is what we are seeing also. Organizations are holding the purse strings a little tighter these days. What does your typical sales cycle look like?
I think sales have slowed down in many industries, with the current economic uncertainty.
