I’ve been in the tech sales industry for around 5 years now and am looking for a mentor to pick their mind in just experience, how they found progression, what they’d recommend and just a push as a whole

Is anyone interested in being a mentor at all?

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.

Is non profit tax and other tax exempt work such as pension trusts, private foundations, etc. considered a specialty tax line? What’s the outlook of this field and opportunities outside of PA?

Are there internal levels/ bands within the VP title at Goldman Sachs? FWIW, this is for a non-business, internal strategy kind of role. (Posting here as this bowl has people from multiple industries)

After you are stealth laid off, other than job search, what do you do? I assume they won’t give you work and even if they do, you can politely decline? How do you feel about you are not progressing anymore and seeing other people progressing in their career? I have no intention to make partner, but still feel a bit stuck not doing that much.

Can someone please advice me how to get into Managerial positions or similar positions with little to no coding… as coding takes most of my time and i start to hate it recently. Is there such place as non toxic ID firm? Or does any of ID attys like what they do? I moved from general practice to an ID firm six months ago. Biggest mistake of my life. I am trying hard not to just quit and walk away as I’m battling head cold but still have to bill bill bill and get criticized for not billing right and etc and cases being piled up - while everyone is looking forward to the long weekend. Hello, Am confused with a few optns in my career growth. I have 2 offers in hand 1 from a tier 3 or tier 4 comp nt a start up. They're offering me a good package with so many career benifits like an onsite, opportunity, certification n good technology exposure. Another offer frm a reputed comp a tier 1 comp not an expectd package n benefits.
Few of my frnds are suggested if i choose a small company my opportunities in future will narrow down when compared to a reputed. Pls can someone help here?

Mid-level associate at a mid-size regional insurance defense firm practicing coverage litigation. Salary is capped b/c my firm only does I.D./coverage and has no direct-hire comm clients. Second round of interviews with a comm lit boutique where I would be the only associate with 5 partners.
