I'll go first... the Hoppy Monk.
- Cusine: Modern American
- Vibe: great place to meet up and get some beer. 21 older after 7pm. Decent patio.
- The good: There is like an 16 page menu of beer and liquor.
- the bad: the food sounds great but the execution is a little lack luster.
OMG Happy Monk is one of my absolute FAVVVVVSSSSSS.
Pete’s Tako house has amazing tortillas and the tacos are good in general.
Mexican food, never eaten inside usually just pick up or order online. Good: lots of food items; Bad: Gotta pay for parking.
Tacos n Salsa on Huebner has great tacos as well!
Mexican food, feels like a kinda Mexican fast food place (think Chipotle, Freebirds, Moe’s). Good: food is tasty, staff is friendly, lots of drink options. Bad: kind of out of the way.
Embers
-Cusine: Sports Bar meets Italian/Grill
-Vibe: Sports Bar
-Good: Pretty good and long beer list. Food is pretty good especially for the price ($14-$19, mostly around $14). Great if you want a more family friendly sports bar environment. Decor is definitely nicer than sports bars.
-Bad: Cocktail menu and wine selection don't look great. Can be loud during big games. Not too much wrong overall as long as you aren't expecting an upscale intimate establishment.
