Hey Fishes,
Require urgent suggestions
I will be joining Oracle Financial Services Software(OFSS) and I am worried about job security considering the layoffs that will be happening in Oracle as per below link:
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.crn.com/news/cloud/oracle-considered-1b-in-cuts-thousands-of-layoffs-report&ved=2ahUKEwjv0Lyb3-34AhX29zgGHZGqBBYQ0PADKAB6BAgEEAE&usg=AOvVaw0c9Bz3n-mb4BhVdPKvIXnE
Require suggestions on whether it would be a wise call to move to OFSS now.

I got fired for my sleeves being rolled during a slow day and cleaning the cooler behind the bar with soap and water. I was wearing a button down shirt and tie.
I was once fire for completely our shift quota too early into the shift
Some cash was stolen from my bag in the breakroom, about $285. When I complained to hr, I was let go. I suspect it was the owner's young son cause he suddenly got really nervous around me after I complained l.
I quit a job once because my boss was selling drugs out of the back door and even after alerting upper management nothing was done about it.
I once worked at a place that made biscuits from scratch. Part of the reason I got let go was because my hands were too square to make round biscuits.
I flipped a guy off after he pulled out and ran me into the ditch, short of killing him. They said “we’re professionals here, we don’t do that.” No mention of me avoiding a crash or rollover.
I was working a really menial job for a Greek family in Houston, soon after I moved there when I was 23. My boyfriend also worked for them in one of their clubs. He got along with his boss and we ended up renting a room in his house. His boss's older brother owned the downtown restaurant I was working in.
I had started looking for "normal job" that paid more and was more interesting than slinging grits and fried chicken for minimum wage $4.25. I applied at
a bail bondsman (don't judge lol - it was still a step up) and checked the box "ok to contact my employer."
A week later, we were at big brother's house for a traditional Greek Thanksgiving (ITKYK). We were in the middle of eating and having a good time.
"Eh, Μαρία (Mah-REE-ah, means sweetheart, which both the brothers called me). I heard you were looking for a new job. You're fired. Now you have plenty of time to look." Then went back to eating.
Oh, it was a long dinner after that. I did find a job after that (not the bail bondsman). I liked it, but spent almost 2 hours on the buss each way to get there. Needless to say, I got a LOT of reading done. Haha.
I worked for a small cell phone service provider and had years more experience in the industry than the supervisors and their boss. I helped where I could then they faked an incident and no one backed me so I was fired.
Wow! Your time off is your time off, no matter how you spend it! And sorry you had to endure the cats passing so closely.
Not necessarily crazy….
When the new boss went to lunch, I was singing, ding dong the witch is gone! Mind you, this was my first day! And my last! Emailed the wicked witch the next morning that I would not be returning. I’m not working for anyone to be treated like she chose to speak to the whole team.
