Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

As an ADC applying this summer for 2022 start, I haven’t gotten a chance to connect with any L.E.K. Consulting members and I really want to get to know the company better before moving on with my application. Any L.E.K. Consulting fish out there willing to spare a few minutes to chat about their work, the company, the culture etc? Thanks!

in the same boat... well, what I understood the exists can be to consulting, rarely to sell-side (IB) and even more rarer to PE. I think it depends on how acquisitive your company is and what you are doing. At mine everything is spead across many teams , all called corp dev, so my team mostly does due diligence but isn't involved in the deal process. On top of that, you can apply to M&A unrelated roles like product management etc, but corp dev is usually the best paid fuction at corporate (given you work at corporate) so pursuing a non-finance role will give you a salary discount
