Hey fishes,
Let’s say Brillio gave some joining bonus and if we are leaving within an year we need to pay it back.
So does it mean I need to put papers after one year or is that okay to put papers after 9 months, so serving 3 months notice makes it one year.
Please let me know if anyone had an idea about this.
Brillio

Lmao is Deloitte more laid back

I worked at both firms for 5+ years in consulting/advisory line of service. Here is my take
Deloitte is a well oiled engine with solid tools, rigid methodology, strict boundaries and cult mentality. Lot of internal politics, dog eat dog world. Numbers driven and they will make you believe that you are working for the best consulting firm in the world. WLB is around 4 on 1-10 scale (10 being the best). Unless you are in a very senior leadership roles, PPMDs are just glorified employees not exactly behave nor feel like owners.
PwC Advisory has this startup chaotic culture with a lot of room to grow and for you to make an impact. Office politics are not that bad but it varies by group. It’s a close knit culture and Partners do feel like they own the firm and protect resources and stay loyal to their teams. It feels like there are many small companies within PwC rather than a large consulting company with standard processes and tools. Every time, you start a new project you have to search for tools or templates etc. or you have to build your own because it’s not easy to find them. Many times, I truly feel like I work for a startup at PwC, which in fact is very exciting for someone like me that is entrepreneurial. WLB is between 5 and 7 depends upon the group.
Great job with an accurate description of PwC - agreed with it genetally. It's not going to be as chaotic as a startup firm, but on the spectrum of consulting companies that's where it lies.
PwC didn’t lay off during COVID. 😂
Burden of proof lays in the hands of the accuser.
PWC cares about their clients?

From what I heard from my friend, at least in the Cyber division, PwC has their sh*# way more together than D. Deloitte is more laid back but it’s a dumpster fire too
Op which practice are you joining?
Im from D joining PWC 😉
*good. Also TBH had substantially better project opportunities at D, lot more responsibility and stretch roles

Sure. If you want to be an assembly line operator entire your career, D is a great place for you.
