What are the qualifications recognised for strategy consulting?

I am CA FINAL student, i have done most of my internship into audit but post qualification i want to start my career into taxation( direct & international). Any suggestions or recommendation on whether any big 4 will take a fresher.

I am working hard on my theoretical knowledge before interview.

Also preparing for Enrolled Agent USA, IRS

For ex consultants without finance backgrounds who transitions to PE or Growth do you have any recs on podcast books to read that helped you build your PE/Investing knowledge?

Has anyone found roles in Big 4 or industry that allowed more work life balance when their kids were young without damaging future career trajectory? I'm a partner with young kids and feel like I'm missing out on too much of their lives. Wishful, but my dream job would have a lighter workload in terms of time and pressure for the next ~5 years, but not set me back too much (or at all) when the kids are older and tired of me in a few years and I'm ready to be back at work full force.

Any of you 3-6 PQE associates have your own clients? I would really love to do some business development with tangible results. I want to have my own clients or atleast bring some to the firm. What has worked for you? Also looking for advice from partners who may have started BD efforts early in their career.

Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. Series 7, Series 63, Life, CFP, ChFC, and soon to have my MBA with a focus in Mergers & Acquisitions. Hey everyone. I found out we are expecting our first child and I’m really nervous. I got into consulting one year ago and I’m up for promotion this year. With timing of our performance conversations I would have to inform I’m pregnant before outcomes - then shortly after the promotion effective date I would go on a leave for due date. My parents FA set up an ira for me while I was in college. I funded the 5500 max for 2 years. Now I have my own Roth IRA and fund that. Just realized that ira that was opened when I was in school was not a roth. Converted in and now will have to pay taxes on the gain (15k of gains).
