I have been in management for the past 8 years and part of large corporations. I just recently joined a small organization that I have wanted to be a part of for the past 2 years, accepted the role of general manager. This organization knew that I don’t have general manager experience, no payroll experience, no experience setting prices, no purchasing experience and today, 6 days after starting, I have been asked to step down due to not being confident that I will be ready in 3 weeks…

The lack of eye contact or staring off to the side from other participants makes me think they have high anxiety or on the spectrum like rain man.

Noob question on selling puts- I just sold a weekly put that I WANT to get assigned. I should go study abroad this month, but I am extremely anxious, I’m not excited about my course and overall not ready. Should I take a break and go next year or just do it? I did not think through the course I picked and it is new to the university so I would be in the very first batch. It’s in data science which I know nothing about and don’t even know if I’ll enjoy it. I’m so stressed about what the course will be like and what my opportunities would look like.
