I am an experienced SM but burnt out at EY plus we are thinking about starting a family. Based on what I see on Glassdoor, should one expect a paycut? I am currently at 260 base. I don’t want to bring up comp until I completely understand the depth of these roles
Curious how many years of experience / years at level at EY?
Yeah, that's gonna be a pay cut. If you're talking about Chicago, you *may* get close. But any other Midwestern city, you'd have to show a TON of value to get there. So don't expect to enter at that salary. Consider also that those roles at Slalom at a local office are 40 to 50 hour weeks. And people actually like each other.
Following. I’m curious as well. My understanding is we have a wide band when it comes to compensation
Typically base is capped at $250k for all roles, rest is in form of quarterly/annual/milestone bonuses.
That’s interesting Slalom4, in my initial conversations I was told by talent that Slalom does not have bands (which I did find odd and hard to believe).
ACN4 - 4th year SM. Came as an experienced hire
We don't have bands, but there are reasonable parity and COL factors that go into it.
SC1 - what’s a typical yearly base company increase at the leader level? 3-5%?
Thanks all - sounds like this in same ball park. Makes sense to continue to see where this ends up. I suppose Glassdoor is somewhat inaccurate and dated.
