What do you do if you don’t want to get promoted to Manager yet (next year)? I came in as an experienced SA with high salary and I don’t feel ready to take on Manager level responsibility and am not very concerned with title because of my currently salary.

I’m an in-house lawyer with two years of post JD experience. I’ve graduated from a top Canadian school (if that matters). My work is focused on regulations within the capital markets. I’m considering management consulting. I’d like to know what salary range I should aim for at Deloitte, PWC, etc at their NY offices. I appreciate any insight you can give me.
