I had an interview with @cognizant all rounds done with HR AND Salary negotiation, after that I sent an email to them related to my offer status. However, they replied me as, we have kept you on hold etc.
And now @cognizant hr called me 3 times for job opening, and I have told them my offer is on hold. Now, they have scheduled interview. Is it for same or new. It's really confusing for me.
If they release old offer what we have discussed or they will interview me again

Accounting has always had high burnout. The hiring rates ebb and flow (ask anyone who was here in 2009). PE isn't my favorite thing for sure, but my day-to-day is still pretty much the same, I'm just less interested in being a partner now...they seem more stressed. So....not looking to transition. Things change constantly - when you've been here long enough, you get used it.
This is actually one of the things I was curious about is if this cycle had been seen before. Yes there has always been a level of burnout but there was still the understanding that if you reach the top, life is better. Now it doesn’t look great to be a partner. Less people coming into accounting sounds like a downward shift but who knows if that shifts back for some reason.
Outside of transitions then, what is the next hot job field outside of AI?
IMO we’re gonna see fewer partners and more senior managers and directors operating with leaner teams to optimize margin. It’s gonna suck for staff/seniors without the subject-matter expertise.
So true and so dangerous 🔥
When you get an internal call from “conference room” or just a call for that matter is it ok to ask and clarify who else is in the room on speaker?
