Many of the victorians are 100 years old or more. Lots of mid century craftsman and bungalows too.

Age is character and can carry value. Just make sure your foundation is not made of brick.

Has anyone had success transferring Chase Ultimate Reward points to a friend? I see that only “household” transfers are allowed but don’t know if there’s leeway with the term. Looking to rent a home in the Central Park area but there are very few homes available for rent on Zillow. Does anyone know of any other platforms that might have listings that are not on Zillow? Question about BO:

I’ve only experienced bad BO when I’m stress sweating (presentations, put on the spot, etc.) or on my period. Even if I’m sweating while exercising, I’ve never smelled.

However, more recently I’ve been noticing it’s all the time. I haven’t changed my diet, my job or anything life changing to affect my hormones/health.

Is this legal?
After being mugged and having my things (including my keys) stolen, I was locked out of my townhome after business hours on a weekend. I was told on the phone when dialing my complex’s after hours number (which is managed by a 3rd party company) that my complex’s policy would let me in for a cost of $100 (as it was after hours). Bought a house with 10% down for 380k. Appraisal came in a 400k but now I’m doing renovations. Completely redoing both bathrooms in the house. Removing popcorn ceilings, installed new AC with new ductwork and insulation, installed a new tankless gas water heater and building out laundry room in garage. Should I refinance after this to get rid of PMI? Current rate for 30 yr is 2.625%. Aka is it safe to assume my appraisal can come back above 435k to equate to 20% equity?

I see two crowds these days. One thinks housing market will crash. The other thinks housing market will soar.

The contrarian in me makes me think this is a decent indication that housing market will stagnate (or increase minimally) for a few years.

As a general rules, I feel like the majority cannot foresee a crash/surge coming. The prevalence of such expectations would hamper the pre-conditions necessary for such a dramatic change.
