Mine was to never try to mold my executives, instead I needed to focus on learning how to work with their personalities.
This is worth its weight in gold. Reminding myself that it's not my job to be their coach or their mum as that line sometimes gets so close to being blurred.

Second year associate here. How should I deal with the one partner in my practice group who seems to exclusively give me lousy assignments that we’ll never get paid for? I get great work from everyone else.

Has anybody experience in giving up the LPR status after leaving the US for work and residency in another country/homecountry? Hey so like - newfound reason for my procrastination since I got on Ritalin - a tendency towards "putting things off so I can enjoy the hyperfocus later".
