Hi All,
I just got a call from KLA Company's HR that I have cleared final round and there is a HR round today evening for salary discussions.
The role is for Frontend Developer(Angular).
I have 3.1 years of experience.
CCTC - 13.2 LPA (all fixed)
Holding offer of 17.5 from service company in Pune.
Does anybody have any reviews for this company for the s/w department?
How much should I ask?
What are the other ways I can negotiate? Like do they provide RSUs?
KLA Corporation
Thank you

Rent's pretty fucking high in CA unfortunately lol
Maybe like $5k. That's what someone got when they moved here from the south
He's from NYC he's used to it
Got 11k as an associate.
Texas to the Bay Area
That's what I was thinking... I would have to get a car too... hmm... I guess it would be worth it if rent wouldn't be too high.
Where to where? ^
That's a big jump in COL @PwC2
1. Relocation should not be part of signing bonus. 2. In all likelihood, a good relocation package would mean less of a signing bonus. 3. Someone in tax can confirm but I'd suggest trying to get the relocation bonus to be paid as a reimbursement of actual cost so it's not taxed. Unless you're moving on a shoestring budget and the relocation bonus is more than you plan to spend.
Not sure about industry but PwC doesn't pay relo bonus. They pay a sign on bonus that can be used for whatever. Internal transfers may be supported by relo packages. Sign on bonus is less hassle for the employer and it is capped. They have less control over how lavishly you travel.
