Just here to vent a little. I am looking to make a move to a new role sometime this year but haven’t begun actively looking / applying, I’ve just been responding to recruiters who reach out on LinkedIn with roles that look interesting. I am already exhausted 😅 there’s always something with these roles or the company. I can’t imagine getting the energy needed to actively look for the right fit, but also can’t imagine staying at my current job beyond this year. 🥲 anyone else or any advice?

I’m a first year tax staff in PA, and I’m embarrassed by how little I seem to understand about accounting... I struggle when a client’s TB is messy and when booking adjustments (e.g. for accrual to cash, when equity doesn’t roll, etc.) Does proficiency just come w time, or can I accelerate my learning?
