The old Monitor ppl that exist are split between SGT in S&A and SDV in M&A. They’re great (and intense) spaces to work in at Deloitte, comparable to MBB. This said, nobody work FOR Monitor, tho some old timers try to use the prestige still. Everyone there is just a plain old Deloitte consultant.
You can add Customer Strategy & Applied Design (including Doblin) to that list, lots of old Monitor partners still running the offering. It's the one legacy Monitor practice that somewhat maintained its identity, but its a small one
It’s a branding thing- most of the legacy Monitor guys have left or are M and above.
I will say- I usually learn quite a bit whenever I get to work with Monitor folks on an initiative.
I’ve seen others keeping a Strategy & Operations title too. I thought this was separated years ago?
Monitor is a brand which exists in our Strategy Offering under S&A. A lot of people here don’t know what their talking about.
If you are interviewing as an experienced hire, they are going to pay you more than most homegrown talent unless you lowball yourself with low salary expectations in interviews.
Worked with monitor partners at Deloitte a few years ago - found my LinkedIn page had more hits / outreach when I listed Deloitte plainly as opposed to Monitor. Partners do cool work but don’t think the brand name carries as much weight
Just this morning an email was sent out that the Monitor “sub-brand” is being revived to differentiate the strategy arm of Deloitte
Monitor still exists in other regions in the world such as Canada and Australia
There are a lot of monitor people in C&M
We acquired the quite a while ago. We maintain the branding but it's just part of S&A just like how Deloitte Digital is a brand managed by an OP. Means really nothing anymore.
