Typically no more than $50, but I've been known to splurge a little!

What's a little lol
Well, if an expensive house plant, or two , or three, or four or even more brings you joy and you can technically afford it, I say go for it. I spent $150 on a plant last year but I will often spend $50 or more on plants, they help make me feel good.
Haha I keep most of my plants alive but at $150 I would doubt myself
I’d go to $150, but I have to feel confident I can keep it alive
Understandable
My thing is that I like to grow from seed, so spending 50 bucks on a plant for me is pretty much unthinkable. I've been tempted to order some dahlia bulbs that are like 15 bucks, and just have never convinced myself to do it. If I had the space I'd love to have fruit trees, and ordering some good bare root whips can get into the $50 range, so that I could maybe justify.
I feel the same way most of my plants I grew from seed or free cuttings.
