The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?

Herman Miller if your budget is 1K+ for a new chair. I got the Steel Case series 2, about 600 - it’s comfortable and ergonomically friendly

Go with ergonomic over comfy.
A good option will depend on your height and size tbh
I second this. I got the Ergo Chair 2, and it’s great, but I’m 6’2 and after using it for 10 months I’ve come to realize I need a chair suited for taller people. The lower back rest just doesn’t go high enough for maximal comfort. Still a great chair tho.

I also just got a Steelcase (Amia). Look on Facebook Marketplace. My chair is $800 new but got it for $200 from an office that closed because of covid.
I love my X chair. Better ergonomic fit for my frame than any of the Herman Millers I tried. Both my husband and I are tall (6’3” and 5’11” respectively) and the chair works well for both of us.
I need a recommendation for a chair that does not swivel please.
