I hear MBA/MPHs aren’t worth it because they’re mainly degree mills for the university. Have you looked into Harvards MBA/MS Biotechnology. Also I hear it’s very hard to get into LS VC without a PhD.

Probably.
Many of my classmates from CBS went to health tech VC if that helps. There was a VC focussed program or health incubator which I did not take but my classmates who dis end up in VC path did.

Echo MPH not being worth it. Wharton, CBS, MIT Sloan, and Kellogg all have decent healthcare offerings
Agree with C1 - several of my classmates did MBA/MPH, and they felt like MPH was a waste of time. Majority of MPH students are fresh out of UG or just picking up a degree before MD/DDS programs, and the job offerings for MPH are significantly worse than MBA.
I did an MPH and regret it only because I didn’t do MBA. BUT to say that it has given me promotions and more money is only the beginning
What is decent? I’m going to booth. 167/167 was good enough
Deferred enrollment. Will be 3 YoE when I start.
If M7 are out, Haas, Anderson, Tuck, Ross, or Fuqua maybe your next best bets. I feel like there are relatively fewer SOM or Stern people in the LS world.
Boston University has a great MBA/MPH program. There are lots of life science companies in the Boston area that recruit from BU.
