Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.

“How does it feel being in the presence of greatness?”
Final question: Based on what you’ve learned about me so far today would you have any reservations in advancing me to the next round in the process? If so I’d like the opportunity to provide some context and clarification around that
I would ask how a day in the life of a current account executive looks like. What kind of tasks they are responsible for, etc. SaaS is great, but it often means you're doing a lot more jobs than just the job you're hired for. I'd want to know what their day looks like.
The interview went well. I will update y’all if I get the position. Thanks everyone for your input I definitely asked those questions.
I’d also ask about the team. In the position of SaaS sales your team makes all the difference
Quota, average deal size, how the previous AE performed, did he hit quota, what’s the OTE, what’s your go to market (partner resell, direct, both), do you own the full solution stack or there are prime, is there inside sales working your accounts with you, how do they differentiate themselves, what makes them unique etc
Also want to know the tenure of the team and quota achievement. Might also want to inquire about the ramp and if there is a guaranteed commission during that period.
It’s harder to land a AE interview when you’re an SDR so it’s cool that they’re interested in you! I would ask about what they expect during the first 90 days. I’m not sure if this is your first time being an AE, but if it is make sure you demonstrate your interest in closing deals and what you’ve done to prepare yourself for an AE role. Ask about what support is available to the sales team. See if they have strong sales enablement/training or if they’re the type to just have you figure everything out.
Recent SDR- AE here.. 3 questions- 1 question about the role, 1 question relating to business/team goals, 1 question about their personal experience showing you did research
