Proficient in executing all types of productions. Doesn’t need oversight or hand holding. Well connected in the agency and outside the agency. Or when they come to you with an offer letter from someone else that values them as a senior producer.
I demand a lot to step up but I also give insights and guidance how to get there. Creative, budget and post management to the point of not needing assistance and me not hearing about issues from other corners. When creatives connect with you and consider you integral a part of getting stuff done is a key measure. Get there and then we can talk about moving up the gears.
When you’ve produced a $300k+ project successfully
Eh, if you’re doing agency production a 300k budget (talent, post and T&E eats a lot) isn’t challenging especially if you’re outsourcing to a vendor. It’s more about how well you can scope a project and complete it without leaning on crutches while aligning the talent you and your creative team feel comfortable working with.
