Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.

It would make sense to switch at any role as the promotion cycles are faster and year to year compensation increases are big
If you survive
Not really equivalent. EM at best. To ensure your success even if they admitted you as an EM you’d have do (and would want to) play an associate role in your first study or two.
No. PwC SM is more like a PwC experienced M ... it is not that same as a EY/ D SM... so it would be a McK C.
PwC D / EY SM / D SM = McK EM
I see. Thanks for letting me know.

Big 4 SM/D’s are brought in at EM level on MBBs. Anything below that on Big 4, will be at Associate/ Consultant (Post MBA) level are MBB. If you are an PwC SM ( which is know is a new level that was added recently, and is truly same as an M), it would be brought in as an Associate at MBB
@SM1, yes.
