I recently interviewed for a role at Goldman Sachs and completed all the levels. After the final interview HR sent me a link to fill out the Compensation Questionnaire and requested for related documents. Next day, another HR called me for some clarification and told me that they are going to request for some approvals. Does this mean I can expect an offer letter? If yes, how long will that process take?

It’s a job if you don’t like it then leave … simple as that
I actually didn’t mind it! And I just started
I would do my best to push back, personally. I need a fully remote job because of my disabilities and family expectations, I can't just suddenly change that because they decided to pull the rug out. Maybe there are exceptions or different things you can qualify for if you ask?
Yes that’s a good point and same here with family commitments it’s tough to manage without flexibility
I would push back. That is so different from the job you agreed to!
Right? I will try to speak with HR
If they Pay more for your travel offset, could be good. Or find another job, you were looking when you found this one.
Someone asked at an all hands if they’d pay more, but they said they would consider exceptional cases. I guess I can go back to the drawing board. Such a process though after months of searching
Was it in writing?
The contract was vague it said hybrid ways of working decided with team, and then my team was remote. Now there’s a change.
You might be out of luck if the contract was vague. Are they talking 5 days a week or how many? If one or two, might be worth it in this job market if you like the job and your team? For me personally, it would depend on how many interviews I was getting before this job. If not many, I'd probably stick with it if I was in a financial/personal position to commute.
I will continue for now, I can’t imagine going through a job searching process again
Just quit, you know you're going to.
Need to think about it!
