When did you start to make $200k total comp: YOE, degrees, title, and city tier. I haven’t gotten there yet and am at 8 YOE, undergrad only, SC, tier 1.
I am going to resign from TCS within a week. My question is, will my salary increment in notice period or it will be same as it is now ?
So I’m currently in an industry job and have a new consulting gig lined up to start mid-March. I just received my bonus letter which will be paid out in full at the end of February. I know the general rule is “wait until the $ hits your account to give notice,” but if I do, I won’t be able to give a full two weeks before I have to leave. Is there really a risk in giving notice to my current company before the bonus money is officially in my account?

Received offer for $120k at Deloitte for consultant level, currently a big jump from my staff 2 salary of 85k but I know I am being early promoted and will likely make around $105-$110k by August, is the short term salary bump worth starting over at a new firm?
Hi Guys, What is the salary band for Capgemini associate consultant? Anyone here from CG?
Baker Tilly vs RSM tech advisory? Comp and region is similar, I liked both groups and could see myself working at either. Any insight from employees?
Anyone joined recently received 1.5 lakh joining bonus from KPMG gs? How many months mentioned in the offer letter that if you leave before that you need to pay the full amount...is it 12months or 18months?KPMG
Does anyone else feel like they are just falling behind with the price increases for our big ticket items such as cars and homes? Like I started working in 2017 and I realized I couldn’t make it the way I wanted on $105k so now I’m at around $250k and I got some rentals but all of the homes in my area have doubled in price since 2020 so from $500k to $1m or above so I feel like I’m still just as financially tight now and cars seem just as unobtainable as when I first started.

Best consulting path/firm for trade compliance?
An MD calls a consultant a “beta”:
Hey EY-Parthenon 🐠— jointing this summer post-mba in SaT. Wanted to get your take: -How’s firm culture? Most I spoke with seemed genuinely cool. Is that your exp? - How much are you traveling? How often are you exp in office? - How’s wlb? Hours? Exp 60-70, is that about right? - Any insight if they’ll ever go fully remote (i.e., client site + wfh only)? Eventually want to move to MCOL city w/o EYP office -Anything you’d wish you’d know at the start? Or advice of how I can best prepare?
How long is too long in Consulting? If you don't have goals of being a PPMD, I don't see the point in staying long.
Ahhhhhh I’m so stressed out
I've been renting cars every week for months now so I assumed that I'd have enough points for a weekend rental. WRONG. Only $70 off of a $190 rental. 🙃
Has anyone ever heard of the landmark forum?
I’m not passionate or motivated in “making slides for my clients” anymore. After a few years, I don’t see the impact or point of our work. How do i get motivated about consulting again?
I graduated in the past few years with an undergrad in engineering from a well ranked program with a degree in systems engineering. Consulting isn’t really doing it for me lately and I was considering moving to engineering industry, though I wouldn’t exactly know where to start job-wise. Anyone have experience being an engineer in industry and have any recommendations?
I took a new role with a nice pay increase and I’m now ridiculously bored. I can normally find something to enjoy in any role and make the best of it but I have absolutely nothing to do so far in this role.... I see other areas of the company I could move into eventually so that’s giving me hope. Also, everyone I have spoken to on my team had similar feelings when they first stated so I’m sort of just biding time. Anyone else have a similar experience? Did it get better more challenging?
The company I work for has archaic job titles / role names in Oracle. My current title does not reflect what I do or the ‘true’ role I have. I’ve tried to get this changed, but the role in the approved job bank are all old / not relevant. I’m updating my LinkedIn profile and resume and not sure what to put for my title? Thoughts on what I should do?
What’s the best place to live in America as a consultant? Is there one or does it vary by individual situation? I imagine it’s some combination of access to a major airport, geographic location, cost of living, cultural institutions, political affiliation, temperate weather, etc. I’ve never lived there but I imagine Denver has to rank pretty highly.
