Best consulting path/firm for trade compliance?
An MD calls a consultant a “beta”:

Hey EY-Parthenon 🐠— jointing this summer post-mba in SaT. Wanted to get your take: -How’s firm culture? Most I spoke with seemed genuinely cool. Is that your exp? - How much are you traveling? How often are you exp in office? - How’s wlb? Hours? Exp 60-70, is that about right? - Any insight if they’ll ever go fully remote (i.e., client site + wfh only)? Eventually want to move to MCOL city w/o EYP office -Anything you’d wish you’d know at the start? Or advice of how I can best prepare?
Ahhhhhh I’m so stressed out

1. The salary you have mentioned is according to the EY salary bands, so not much room for negotiations. 2. Don’t compare with US salary structure. NL salary is anywhere 40-60% less than US salary.
Following! Is this for entry level?
SM1, I myself started at 75k and now over 100k, definitely a big L, god bless the American visa system.
For analysts, 35k gross is pretty standard I bekend. Consultants get about 30% more, so it would be slightly low.
Sounds like Accenture pays a lot more
Sounds about right for highest consultant level at EY NL
It's below mbb entry level salary. But above big4 start salary by +- 5-6k. Must say offer doesn't sound great compared to some entry positions outside of consulting.
