What’s the best country outside of the US to Fire to as an American? In terms of lifestyle, affordability, ease of moving there permanently, safety, climate, etc.

That depends what you want to do with your time. If you're looking forward pursuing cultural interests, you may want to live somewhere that's not known for being cheap. If you don't care about culture and you're more interested in scenery, a cheaper option would make sense. I'd like to retire where I'd have access to major cities, so someplace in Europe would suit me. I've seen enough beaches and could never see enough museums.

This is going to vary so much on personal preferences and budgets.

Depends on what you are looking for: good lifestyle in a slightly cheaper country where if you want you can integrate, Portugal. Low cost and easy access to the US, but likely in an expat enclave, central america.

I don’t have an answer but I was recently in San Miguel, Mexico for work and it was beautiful. I heard there’s a large expat community there.

Heading there in 2 weeks for a 10 day vacation. I think it’s getting relatively expensive but we’ll see

Poland.

If you are a dual citizen, then you have another option open.
If you have family in another country, that also opens the door.
If you speak another language, that could make your life easier there.

Ease of moving would likely be Mexico. There are large expat enclaves.

California has retirement towns like Laguna Woods, and a dedicated section in Mission Viejo. I’ll never go oversees. I like to be safe even if I am not paying attention.

Hello All - I struggle with time management. I take medication but I have no idea whether a task will take 40 mins or 4 hours. Because of this, I over commit and under deliver. Also, having been on the receiving end of criticism, over time I have developed a perfectionist streak. I won't turn it in if it is good enough. How do you break out of this habit?

Any resources to help the brain structure tasks and make better estimates? Much appreciated, thanks!

My psychiatrist today revealed to me that I may have ADHD, still a hypothesis that he is still exploring but from my personal experiences and discussions with therapist, it seems likely.

One example of personal experience is my ongoing prep for case studies as I'm interviewing with a number of firms. I do struggle to keep focus and generally take a bit longer to finish them, specifically the structuring of the case. Does anybody else feel the same way and any recommendations to overcome this?

Yidden, I've been slowly drifting away from religion. It's odd because I used to be so connected, and I still retain the same values! Technology, however, has made religious ritual feel so lifeless, and I can barely muster the energies to maintain even a bare Jewish lifestyle. I become so sad when I see my friends becoming more connected, while I find myself gradually falling away 😞... HELP!

For any real estate investors

22 years old and currently focused on using my left over income to invest and pay off my debt. I am set to pay off my college loans by next year and, when I do, I want to look into investing into real estate. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get into/learn more about real estate investing? Or how I can have enough knowledge on the topic to be able to invest wisely when the time comes?

Any books? youtubers? etc. How did you all learn about it?
