So $1m tc, comprised of salary, draw, and bonus for the first rung on that ladder.

Yes, they do. It’s not true NEP at LW. Units are like $10-11k now. You start at 60. Add in salary plus bonus gets you to a mil in year 1.

Big M&A deals are absolute cash cows and seem to be monopolized by a handful of firms.
I think you could calculate this using amlaw’s data. Take the average partner comp, multiply it by total number of partners, remove the EP amount, then divide by number of NEPs. Then do a standard deviation. It’ll probably get you close.
