My response was lazy, but yours is way too generalized. It’s absolutely easier to learn to manage than to learn to lead, but both are developable traits. I have built a career on being a phenomenal leader, despite being a mediocre manager - and I’m now able to have tremendous managers on my team to make up for that weakness.
Management is about is about allocating the resources you have to achieve the results you have been told to, leadership is about creating results from your resources that are greater than the sum of the individual resources.

Leaders lead from the front. They pave the way and their people follow. Managers manage people and they don't lead. They delegate but people don't follow where they lead. I have had lots of managers but few of them were actual leaders. I feel like leaders are harder to find.
