Anything in media/account because there's so much grunt work required...all you really need is an interest and the ability to speak coherent in an interview
Media is probably the easiest to get into and has the most entry-level roles available, but warning - once you’re in it’s hard to get out and switch to something else!
Media buying
Wrong! I’m not attractive and was a media buyer.
Media or account - every agency needs them so there are always a lot of openings
Agree with the above! I started with no ad experience or relevant school as an AAE and switched to a junior producer role after a year as an AE (6 months later and fishbowl still hasn’t verified the title change)
Strategy / junior planner. It’s the only job where you can just make up a bunch of impressive sounding BS in an interview and get a job instead of having to go to school for a specialty program (accounts and creative).

I know peeps who went AAE then switched after a year to start
What discipline? for Account it is an Assistant AE.
The front desk
Mail room probably

AAE for sure
I started as an assistant TV buyer but also had a media internship at MSG that prob helped me get the job before since I already understood Nielsen
AAE or entry PM. Communicate, learn to anticipate issues, plan/schedule, and work with a team. Everything one did in school group projects
I’ve heard the market for business affairs people is pretty hot.
I wouldn't look at easy I'd look at what's got a future. The digital execution side feels like it's got legs. The analytics/data side has the most transferable skills to build. A data engineer or an analyst is good wherever
Executive Assistant or Project Coordinator
