Does Globant terminates the employment of certain trainees after their probation(3 Months) based on their performance in the training period? Some of the fresher trainees were laid off this morning without giving a notice or reason.

We were told that the probation period is a training period & not an elimination one. It was shocking as a few of those trainees were actually good.

I have a Bs in Construction Management and over 15 years experience with Revit and AutoCAD and 7 years of plumbing design. I have solid references and impeccable work ethic. I truly enjoy what I do. Working remotely the last three years has become a way of my life and supports our current situation well, therefore I am seeking a similar role but will consider other opportunities.

I have chronic health issues and I’m severely depressed. I can’t even get myself to work anymore. If I don’t quit, I’m in serious danger of being fired. I feel that I need to just quit and take time off to get better but feel that it will be a stain on my career. I’m a pretty junior lawyer. Any advice. I just can’t do any work at all and I’m my anxiety and depression is spiraling out of control. I see a therapist I try to cope and it’s not working.

Today I was walking back to the hospital from my car some random guy came up to me and asked me for directions while I was still in the lot. I started a new job recently and then had my PTSD seriously triggered, plus a panic attack. Felt so on edge and low on emotional resources for over a week that I wasn’t myself and apparently really rubbed a few people the wrong way so I was called in for a talking to 😣. I let people know there were some personal things going on, but didn’t mention the PTSD—very unsure if that’s something to share, or if I’d be judged for it or... I don’t even know. Has anyone else dealt with PTSD and had it impact them at work, and how did you handle it?
