What’s the most random or insignificant thing on your resume that ended up becoming the main focus of an interview?

I’ve recently found on LinkedIn someone added a tiny side project they built for themselves almost as a joke... and interviewers ignored years of professional experience just to ask about that! Turns out people get way more engaged by something self-driven than most would think.

Anyone at Amex? Their interview process seems to be taking a very long time. Is this normal?

How long does HCL take to release the offer?

I have taken the interview on 27th July 2022 and next day I got an update that I am selected and I will be connected by HR for further proceedings.

With all details I have shared, I have been told that the approvals are pending and the offer will get released soon.

Now, they have mentioned it will be released next week.

I feel like every company lies about “working your way up.” You’re never allowed to blatantly say that you don’t like your position and you’d like to transition to HR or Finance. It’s almost as if once you get in claims, you’re stuck.

While I look for work, it’s a bit discouraging seeing how hundreds of people apply for positions I see on LinkedIn. I still apply because you never know and AI plays a huge effect in selections.
