What’s the one change your company made this year that truly transformed the way you work day to day? Has it really improved how work gets done or just added another layer of meetings, reporting, and other busywork?

I’m curious to hear what's actually moving the needle to try with my team.

Don’t lie to your team. I have caught my manager lying to me and others and totally ruining her credibility. I have been looking for a new job for months.

Nothing, if anything management has went down the tube... less worth while communication, pushing to use AI and systems that don't help with the job at all.... the company I work for has a tendency to invest in a lot of tech that essentially doesn't help at all. yet want it used to show that it was worth it soooo numbers manipulation. If anything please back your people up when something isn't working or something is causing more busy work to the point it's counter productive. Communicate with your team. Management often forgets they are dealing with an actual person

In my case, and this just happened his week, it was letting go of a toxic leader on another team. Now maybe we can collaborate and get things done. Don't let the door hit ya on the way out!

In the 6 years of our married life me and my husband have always had differences.
One thing we stuck to was not to care about expenses like we saved together, spent together...my salary was his and vice versa...
I have differences with his side of the family...but recently I got to know that he has been buying crypto for his brother without my knowledge.
Mind it that his brother is very well off but for some reason he can't buy crypto himself since he is in India.
Knowing my husband...contd...

Considering joining a small 50-person company as the only attorney (prior attorney is retiring). (I am currently in-house at a F50). For others who have done the same path, what surprises did you have when moving from a large company to a small one?

For example, it sounds like I should not expect a document management system, based on a prior post in this bowl. I’m guessing expenses like state bar fees and cell phone are not reimbursed.

Any advice on things to expect (or not expect)?

Hi Everyone! I’m an emerging UX Designer and would love some advise on how to pivot into this field. A little about me: I’ve always been creative and tech savvy - stemming from my beginnings as an IT major and ending with a BA & MA in Art History. I’ve had experience with usability studies and testing for the rollout of Salesforce in my company and have finished my Google UX certificate this past June. I would love to start working in a field that I’m passionate about. Any advise is appreciated!
