What's the real difference between Advisory and Audit? As an ongoing intern to advisory with DT, I'm curious for unfiltered thoughts.

What happens during the first week of internship? I know it's orientation, training etc. Need specifics of what goes on. Is it a 60 hour week?

To those at V25 firms, how do you view your London office in terms of the quality of work we get and overall importance to the firm? Like is there a perception of us being a step down or ancillary to the big leagues of NYC or not? There’s generally a perception here that L&W and K&E are the only US firms where London can even begin to compete with stateside in terms of generating l work organically but would be interesting to know what you all think? Be brutally honest.

Why are people now treating e-mail as instant messaging? I work with several people that for some reason expect all emails to be answered within minutes of being received…. I can understand the sense of urgency around some high-priority, time-sensitive matters… but everything does not fall into that category… it drives me crazy.
