Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

Up front. No sense in wasting your time or anyone else’s.
I’m in the same boat as well and have been trying to figure that out. Also just trying to figure out when to tell current employer that I moved out of NYC and won’t be coming back if they ever want us to work in the office again.
As someone currently hiring, I don’t care if you’re remote but I want to talk through the work related aspects of long term remote work, like quarterly office visits and hours of the day we work. It’s less of a problem and more logistics & budget planning. If I have someone on the east coast and need to travel them to the west coast 4x/year I need to make sure I’ve discussed those things with my finance & HR teams.
I personally am remote and was hired that way. I’ll probably go in once a month to once a quarter starting next year and ask team members to come in those days too so we can meet face to face eventually.
Thanks! This is super helpful!
Following this - as I’m in a similar boat as you, OP. I don’t think we’re the only ones!
Be up front about it. As someone currently hiring for a few roles I would want to know if you don’t plan to ever live in the cities we work in (one day when we work in person again).
