I’ve learned something new on each project, and I’m afraid of coming off as an idiot so I rarely contribute to conversations; only after I have done research on the topic and have prepared do I speak/give ideas

Guys.. just a headup.. dnt join epam anywhere .. they dnt have projects.. they are re-evaluating people again .. same technical interview of 1.5 hours ... Not sure wat is the outcome of the technical interview after geeting offer letter n joining epam.

I had actually applied through a referral to Deliotte for Fx settlemets position. I got a call from Hr asking for CTC and notice period. Haven’t heard back since 2 weeks. Does it take long for them to schedule a interview or what could be the case?

As going through the interviews process as an experienced hire, do recruiters just email you with the offer or call you first and then email you details later on?

Resigned from my job for blatant racism last week. Been a contingent worker for 6 months. The manager that recruited me unfortunately left after a couple weeks and went to another company. She however recommended me for the permanent opportunity to higher management. The acting manager came in, permanent role was posted, I applied, interviewed……manager told me they chose someone else external for the role. I’m new on the job search and still employed. I’m looking to grow further in the logistics industry. While I look for work, it’s a bit discouraging seeing how hundreds of people apply for positions I see on LinkedIn. I still apply because you never know and AI plays a huge effect in selections. Should I even bother applying when there are more than 100 applications?

I interviewed at KPMG on 11/14 and got a verbal offer the next day but since then waiting to hear from them. Been following up continuously but the partners are not replying it seems. In the meanwhile i have an offer from BT offering 90k for 4 yrs of experience which seems to be fair. I am just unsure whether to accept the offer as I was waiting for kpmg reply as I want B4 on my resume which apparently is a big deal. Is BT also good on resume for future employers ??

I called the HR after getting their point of contact mail and I asked if it's possible to switch. They said I'm already tagged to a project and that they'll check from their end if it can be done.

Anyone knows the chances of location being changed after receiving the offer and getting tagged to a project?

I’m have a new theory about why juniors always feel like idiots and wanted to see if anyone else thinks this makes sense. I feel like I’ve lost myself since joining McK. My whole world has become about work. I love my job but I’m not the same person I started and I feel I don’t connect with my friends and family the way I use to. I’m not sure if I’ve grown, or lost a part of myself. Got an offer from a big bank’s operation department (fund reporting analyst), currently at EY faas and I’m not happy here, should I stick it out here until I get promotion or jump now? The salary offered is about the same I get now ( a few K higher). but I’m worried about flexibility (not as many vacations, promotions) if I jump to industry :(
