Ritz or JW in Cancun?
Hi all,
I’m looking to relocate to Seattle. Does anyone know if any of the Big 4 are still recruiting campus hires to start in Summer/Fall 2023? I’m open to either Audit or Tax, but I have internship experience in Tax.
I applied and received an offer at a Big 4 in San Francisco (campus hire), but I’ve decided Seattle is the better fit for me as it will be closer to my hometown and family in Vancouver.
Thanks!

Is firm travel back up to pre covid levels?
Bain & Company Got dinged after a final round AC interview with Bain & Company as an experienced hire with 1 YOE. Currently at $75k base salary and on average work 30-40 hours a week.
Considering $15-25k increase in salary, but double the number of work hours, is it worth reapplying to Bain next year or better to wait to apply until after business school?

Of the Big 4, only we get guaranteed per diem
Yeah client can. You can say no but then you get thrown off the project. Personally I prefer actuals!
@kpmg2, you must hate money.
That's what I do. It's also what basically everyone I know at the firm does.
Which firm @SA1
Same as yours.
Yeah, I've heard this is unique to KPMG.
Basically unless your project specified to use actuals just charge through the per diem rate as "remit to employee."
Yup, I do the same thing, interest to hear about other B4
OP: ask your colleagues in KPMG.Its not an FB item.
*a
Yes it is... I want to know about firms OTHER than KPMG @K1
It's only a KPMG thing. I left KPMG for EY and we can only get reimbursed for actual, regardless of if its on corporate or personal card.
@EY1 So you actually have to stay within the govt guidelines? Can you skip breakfast & lunch and put through a $71 dinner? Any other differences you've noticed between EY and KPMG expense policy? I've found KPMG's to be pretty relaxed - my manager will put through just about anything.
No you can't skip all and put 71 in dinner. That's why limit exists per slot. Your manager should get audited. Let me know if I can help :)
At KPMG you can, if you put it through on your personal then expense back per diem @kpmg1
Interesting @KPMG2
Sorry there's no guarantee... Client can request on actuals
Well client isn't gonna get them cause it's not firm policy
OP : I think is just learning the value of client :)
