Which B4 strategy group is best?

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? That will never happen!!!

Anyone heard good things about CFGI? I’ve heard their comp structure is gimmicky with overtime pay. But if I could make the same base there as I do in big 4 with the chance of some overtime pay is it worth it to give it a shot?

It’s now been about a month since I cold applied to all big 4 firms for upcoming winter internships. I’ve tried reaching out to some of the recruiters in the area I applied for but no response. Is this white flag territory or is there still hope? And if it’s the ladder is there anything I can do to speed up the process or is it just a waiting game.

What is the hiring market looking like these days? I am seriously burnt out and ready to exit MBB consulting, but feel this economic downturn may not be the best time to make big career moves. Thoughts?

For those that have big 4 and MM FDD experience, what’s the difference in hours? Did you like one more than the other? Salary range for seniors?

How long should I be on H1b b4 my potential new employer can initiate my transfer?(on opt now).H1 activates on Oct 1st right?Shd I work with current emp for x days before new emp can request transfer?

Hi fishies! Considering an internal big 4 move from Western Europe to Dubai. Not sure about WLB and whether there’ll be enough growth and learning opportunities after reading some of the threads here. Anyone up for sharing their experience? Especially concerned about sexism / racism as a WOC…and whether moving back to Europe in a few years will be difficult because the ME experience won’t be considered valuable.

I interviewed at KPMG on 11/14 and got a verbal offer the next day but since then waiting to hear from them. Been following up continuously but the partners are not replying it seems. In the meanwhile i have an offer from BT offering 90k for 4 yrs of experience which seems to be fair. I am just unsure whether to accept the offer as I was waiting for kpmg reply as I want B4 on my resume which apparently is a big deal. Is BT also good on resume for future employers ??

Any folks who have shifted from a consulting/big 4 to start ups in the last couple of years. How is the experience. What should be the expectations if you have a tech functional experience of 3 years in Deloitte USI

I’ve been prepping for MBB for months but I know I’m still not ready. I’m struggling with staying structured and with creative questions. I’m really frustrated because I feel like I’ve put in so much work but I’m not where I need to be to make it. I know if I interviewed today I wouldn’t make it through.
Any advice?

I’m currently a customer success analyst and have about 4 years solid experience in customer success, making $63k in SoCal. Since I’ve been successful for a few years now here, would I ask for a recalibration on salary due to experience to make sure I’m up to par?
