Where are there bigger salary increases and bonuses? Staying in consulting or going to industry at large billion dollar firms?

Can someone please share the current trends in joining/signing on bonus in Asset management industry.

I have an offer from an Asset Manager in London and it is slightly below my expectations. I want to approach them for a joining bonus but was not sure if it is a thing in asset management.

Also what is a good % to ask for a joining bonus [5%, 10% or 15%] of the base salary

I've cleared the technical and managerial round in Citiustech. I will have my HR discussion tmrw. My current CTC is 12.75 LPA. I've asked for 17 LPA fixed during the initial stage of interview schedule. Will they offer as my expectation ?

I accepted a new offer and put in my notice this week and my company provided a counteroffer. The offer is lower than my new offer but I know it’s the best they can do. Financially I do need the money but I’m also tempted to stay because my current team is so great. One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
