You should definitely pursue a BS or BA first and learn the difference between "et al" and "etc". "Et al" is used when you are listing people.
Who fuckin cares, answer his question. Maybe you guys should become grade school English teachers.
And don't use "et al" or "etc." if you have already used "e.g.," (which is probably better than "Ex:")

PwC1, not necessarily. Et al comes for Latin meaning "and others." So theoretically any list that makes sense to end with "and others" would be fine. For example, when listing countries you plan to visit, you could say: "England, Ireland, Spain, et al"
