EY is still going strong and will be better once we can get rid of audit

Heard Deloitte is offshoring all ops.
Sounds like something Deloitte would do
What makes me nervous is that they will definitely want to remove upper management that have high pay, experienced hires who have a year or two, and make room for cheaper “talent”, fresh meat right out of college.
Pro
I disagree about experienced hires. They’ll cut bait with any employees a) that aren’t performing well b) been on bench and c) have no value add aka little experience. That can be anyone (regardless of experienced hire or not). They’ll make it performance based so they get away with no severance
Heard KPMG is going out of business
Nobody, don’t worry. There’s a labor shortage, and it looks like just a small dip. Covid was a once in a lifetime event and the layoff was only 4%, and then they were hiring like crazy to get more staff.
