Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

Take any “path to promotion next year” promise with a HUGE pinch of salt. Common thing said to get you in the door just to keep you at level next promo cycle.
Agreed, considering the counter offer I’m actually seeing my chances of promotion diminish now

Can’t speak for the practice quality, but I’d probably take PwC or at least see if D will counter. A guaranteed M position is better than the path to one and you can always boomerang or move elsewhere if you don’t love it. But you’ll have PwC M on your resume instead of D SC.
Yep, it is risky and I am definitely giving up my WLB …but now that I’m hearing everyone’s thoughts I’m thinking of going for PwC due to the learning opportunities.
I guess I’ve gotten comfortable at D and that’s not always a good thing.
Thanks so much for your inputs :)
What do you want to do long term and have you confirmed what Quality Engineering entails at PwC? It sounds like testing, primarily, so just wanted to confirm if that’s correct.
Appreciate your inputs. Hearing your experience is helping me think clearly. I know I want the Title and the bump plus it’s an equally reputed firm so how different can it really be.
Thanks so much :)
