I had interviewed for an internship position at EY for technology consultant program for summer 2022 and got a call where they extended an offer. I wanted to know if I can defer the internship offer to fall 2022 or a later start date after summer.
I apologize as I cannot reply to a comment or DM on this platform to anyone, but thanks for your answers in advance.

I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.

I like the Protiviti / EY culture way more than Deloitte. I think it comes down to your ideals. WLB sounds important to you - that is not nearly as valued at Deloitte as it is at EY/Protiviti. It sounds like you are leaning Protiviti, if you end up going that route try negotiating the pay (easier to do since you have several offers).
Stay away from Risk. It isn’t actually tech consulting at any firm, you’ll get paid less than real tech consultants, and you’ll hate the projects. I would definitely take Protiviti offer and maybe eventually look to move into Big 4 tech consulting
Hard to pass up having a name like Deloitte on your resume and you can always pivot if the work culture and balance is not a good fit. That said, I would prioritize the opportunity that yields the biggest growth potential for you professionally. Think about which opportunity has the most advancement potential, which job is most likely to involve strong training and mentorship, which manager will invest in you most, which opportunity will broaden your skillset and make you more marketable, etc. Equally as important is whether any of those three opportunities are ones that are hard to come by for the future because the positions are extra competitive or the company is one that people are flocking to in hopes of joining (aka are any of these offers akin to a dream job with Google?) You will always have the opportunity the make more money and work culture is definitely a priority, but is also an easy change to make if you end up working for a company that you do not see as a personal fit. Go for opportunities that benefit you long-term and open up doors for you to get to your ideal career sooner.
Hey bud, these are 3 distinct options and shouldn’t be looked at by company but by role. PSS at PRO is heavy tech work and requires serious coding chops and a willingness to get into the details of a technical product. Usually these offers go to computer science majors. The other two options sound closer to SOX works and at good firms but I doubt the roles will be interesting. You’ll be leveraging name recognition in two years to try and do something else. DM me if you have PRO questions.
