Congrats! Here's to a brighter future for all of us. I'm so happy everyday about the path I chose, and I wouldn't change it for anything.

Awesome, friend! I have been in the military for 15 years and let me tell you, seeing young people like you, excited for their future in this industry helping our country, makes me very happy. Wish you the best of luck!

I'm definitely excited for the future of the military! It's been a great experience for me so far and I know that there are even more opportunities ahead. I'm looking forward to continuing my career and making a positive impact on the world.

This is excellent keep the motivation! Word of advice from me to you would be. Be open to possibilities the military puts in front of you and, challenge yourself, try to reach new heights in all aspects!

Hi all! My brother has 8 YOE post his Masters with a US bank in their rates trading division as a software developer- managing, supporting and developing software for pricing trade executions, risk management and reporting requirements for the trading desk. He wants to pivot out of banking and maybe look for an opportunity with FAANG or with MBB/Tier2 consulting. Any inputs on how to go about this transition, what hiring managers look for and if consulting is an option? TIA

Hi All, just sharing what on mind to vent it out from my system. Maybe with this I could gain some insights and inspiration.
I have been working as a data scientist since 2018 & have been the bread winner. I have neither been under a proper mentor nor with a team of peers from my field to help me out. I was alone and confused. I have never really got the chance to prove myself which makes me all the more depressed. I'm not sure what to do with my future, indecisive and low on confidence.

The EA/Admin profession used to be a gateway for many people to get their foot in the door and grow into different career paths. For most organizations this is no longer the case. Do you see EA’s/Admins growing into different roles within your orgs? If so, what paths are taken? What steps are taken to get there? What I’d like to learn is whether our profession still has the capability to be a doorway or if others are seeing the same things I am; limited opportunities for development.

Recent career-switcher here. While I’m a veteran with the ad process, I am new to the UX agile process. Is it normal to not use briefs whatsoever? Is it normal for the UX research lead to have a stakeholder workshop (sans designers) to think of concept “thought starters,” then have a separate meeting with the UX design lead to vote on which 1 of 3 concepts to proceed with? In advertising, this is analogous to the client and researchers doing the campaign idea then telling the CD to execute it.
