It is! Southwest is the best airline in so many ways
I fly southwest all the time and when I have to rough it on delta, united, or god forbid American I'm always so appalled how long it takes for boarding and getting off the plane and also how pissy everyone is
Companion pass is legit. Southwest is great!
I like it. The only problem is families who with one preboard block seats 💺 for the whole family you feel cheated on when you buy business select
Yea def full of peasants.
No first class. No international (other than a few Central America/Mexico)
P4, please get the stick out of your ass, it's a joke. I've worked to get where I am. The only protein I could afford through college was eggs so I was a peasant. Enjoy your high horse.
Let the haters hate those of us with companion pass know what's up and I would rather not have more than 15 consultants on my flight anyway
@D6 I'm picturing you as Rush Limbaugh, jowls quivering and spit flying out of your mouth as you rant about the damn LIBRULS
@D7 I have disdain for people arguing stupid logic. Don't know how they are consultants.
@PwC5 asshole and troll responses are petty, I agree. But it seems you don't have much experience with elite status and first class upgrades. This is based solely on your comparison of a SW bulkhead to first class on a legacy. Granted first class on a legacy pales in comparison to first class on a foreign airline. But SW is barely better than Spirit...
@PwC5 A lot of aspects are attractive to me. Note that my perspective is from a Delta loyalist and I live in a non hub base (i.e. lots of connections and usually always upgraded due to lower number of medallions). Compared to someone without status, these are a few of the differences of having a first class upgrade. Priority security sscreening, which is valuable if you do not have TSA pre-check; board first so your bag is guaranteed to fit above your seat (space is reserved in first, so you have room even if you arrive late); beverages before takeoff; complimentary pillow, blankets, water bottle; more leg room, wider seat, seat with greater recline; more complimentary entertainment options; free drinks and premium snacks on short domestic flights (constant service and refills...which comes in handy when you want to get shit bombed on Thursday); hot towel and meal service on longer domestic flights during the dinner, lunch or breakfast hours; premium rebooking and adjusted itineraries when travel is disrupted; higher status-qualifying mileage rates. Frequent first class upgrades make weekly travel tolerable for me.
LETS YELL LOUDER ON FISHBOWL!
Pretty simple. 1) can't get upgraded to comfort of business. Doesn't exist. 2) can't use points for free international flights
Yes, about .7 to 1 I believe, but you also accrue SW points quicker, so it evens out in my opinion
😂
@pwc5 it's like saying why do I need a BMW when I have a Toyota Camry. Such a terrible argument. This is why you work at PWC
I like it
*- am I right?
Let's all rationalize a program that's nowhere near the level of eg delta or American if you want to fly anything but economy domestically and internationally. Classic liberals (idealists)
What's equivalent on SW of being platinum or diamond on delta and getting upgraded to business on majority of domestic flights?
Thank you EY3. A good articulation for someone from EY
