Why is IPG maternity leave still just 12 weeks?

I am sure they will lowball me, and I understand there is a wide range. I make 126k now. It’s a lot more work, and I want to make sure it’s worth it. Inflation alone should be a 9% raise 😑

Mid-level associate at a mid-size regional insurance defense firm practicing coverage litigation. Salary is capped b/c my firm only does I.D./coverage and has no direct-hire comm clients. Second round of interviews with a comm lit boutique where I would be the only associate with 5 partners. Definitely took the wrong job. I was offered a seriously competitive salary and great benefits to work at a well funded startup, which is great! I’ve been working for my State Farm agency as a team member for 2 years. I am licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health, but only make $13 an hour. I technically can make bonuses but I’m not supposed to dig into a sale and I have to send it to a sales rep (I am service and retention mostly).
