Why would one pick a FAANG over a MBB? Or vice versa? Change management person over here

Hey all ... i do PI litigation but i have a passion to help businesses with acquistions, business transactions (specific to dental and medical acquistions and sales), real estate transactions/estate planning. Now a new internal Deloitte exec recruiter contacted me to follow up…6 months after being ghosted. Any thoughts on partner/principle recruitment process at Deloitte? Is Deloitte wasting my time?
