Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Maybe she's planning on going back to her maiden name...
Divorce her before the flight. Problem solved
Not sure if they’ll let her switch, but if she has her passport in her maiden name still, she could travel using that ID.
“By accident"
Call and explain. Theyll typically work with you
Bring marriage doc or some other form of ID. They can change it at counter.
If this happened in last 24 hours they will change it for free. If not, then just call and explain the situation - hopefully they won’t charge the name change fee.
Call airlines
I have done this several times. Yes I know I'm an idiot. The airlines are generally heartless and will charge you a name change fee if it's been 24 hours. That being said, I've gotten it to work by using my marriage license with the TSA agent and also her passport, which was still in her maiden name even though that wasn't even her real name at the time. It matched the ticket and that was good enough.
