I currently work as a biomedical scientist but I want to change my career; so far I’ve done Salesforce Sale cloud consultant and Administrator exams and I am certified. I’m currently studying for the Service Cloud consultant certification .
So I would really appreciate if anyone could refer me for entry level roles in salesforce . I live in London, but I’m happy to relocate . Here’s my LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/modupe-olotu and the link to my online Portfolio https://mbosalesforcehow-to.carrd.co/

Getting a cert will help get your foot in the door but getting a cert alone doesn't mean you actually know Salesforce well. I'd actually recommend getting the app builder certification which is a lot easier to get and doesn't require coding either. That being said, unless you're applying to the product team, they're more of a nice to have but not a requirement.
If by getting hired into SF, you mean the company itself, then you will need much more than just the Admin Cert.
I interpreted the original question as: Is an Admin cert all you need to get hired by SFDC?
Certainly, job experience can compensate for lack of a cert.
I was hired into SF (customer success group) with no certs, just consulting exp and some hands on experience. I’m currently studying for my admin certification but wondering if I should focus on app builder first if that’ll help me get stronger in configuration? Joined as a functional consultant
Novice question-Does SF admin requires coding ?or any prior technology experience?’My wife has been thinking either to learn SF Business analyst or admin.
P1, I come from a non-IT background and have successfully made the transition to admin to BA to solution architect. And I know many others who have done it. So your SO can definitely do it! The admin exam is tricky and easier if you know the system. For me I like being hands on in my dev org building solutions for problems. Good luck!
The Admin Cert is the hardcore basics of doing admin with no code component. It proves you understand where to start, but not much more than that. E.g. I've been working as a SF admin for 1.5 years now and I'm only working towards the cert now, but my new colleague who has the cert is still a sf admin beginner by comparison.
It's mostly a tool to prove you know something to employers
