what’s the return offer for non MBA GSAPers?
Is April month salary slip generated in FIS Global ??? Mine is not showing, when it will generate?
I doubt they didn't give me quarterly variable , I joined in mid February and even salary came less than previous month.
Did they deduct tax in April month salary of it is then fine because they didn't tax in March month .
Kindly comments if anyone have idea .
Thanks

Is personalized mugs too corny? Lol what a cool thing to do. I'd be pumped if my manager did something like that.
I’ve been using Snappy.com to set budgets & let my team pick out things they actually want. The price point starts at $25 & there are some super cool things to choose from. In my opinion, employees don’t really care for the “you’re a rockstar” gifts as they tend to accumulate over a while & it all just becomes an extra dish or another trinket. Our team enjoyed being able to decide what was practical for them.
I've done gift cards for my team, but something I know they'd use. Like the guy who orders in every night got a doordash one, the knitter got one to a yarn shop, etc. A little more personalized than hey I ran to Starbucks or Walgreens on break and grabbed a gift card.
I also do gift cards. I talk to team members one on one and say some kind words about how it’s been a pleasure working with them this year. Then I offer them a $35 gift card of their choice as a thank you - things like Amazon, Sephora, Starbucks, and a jewelry shop. It feels personalized, it’s easy to do online, and it’s something they pick, so I know they’ll use it.
Stanley tumbler 30oz are for $35. There are some beautiful Stanley dupes on Amazon for less the $25 dollar. It’s a trend this days to carry Stanley cups everywhere 😃
This is more of a cautionary tale:
One year our leader sent everyone in her org a mug that said “another meeting that could have been an email.” *mike drop*
It was hilarious, but also really insulting since the large group of employees under her weren’t driving her calendar. From then on, people in her meetings felt uncomfortable. She left the company the following year 😂
0 stars. Do not recommend.
😳😂
Local coffee is always nice too - I’ve also gotten different types of spices for people in the past too.
Fancy chocolates (not Godiva). There’s a yummy shop at most malls that sells them. I always get a good response when I give that. I also love to buy myself some or receive some as a treat! Or, if you have a local toffee shop, a bag of yummy toffee.
I used to find crazy (but practical) gadgets with multiple uses, like a Keychain that's a phone charger, flashlight gloves, I even found a pen that is also a ruler, bubble level, screwdriver (Phillips and flat), bottle opener, led flashlight and a phone holder!
Love this idea!!!
Where do you shop for gadgets?
I check out dollar and discount stores. The internet is also a good place. I google "multi purpose or multi function gadgets"
Not sure how crafty you are or maybe you can buy but one simple cheap thing I did for my team and they seem to love (someone even brought it up 3 years later) was I bought cheap elves at the dollar tree and had them personalized with their names and put it in a small bag with some candy canes sitting them up and candy at the bottom. A bunch of people still have them on their desks and they worked out to like $2.50/person
Not to knock above but nobody wants mugs 😬

One year I got everyone a back scratcher that had a hand as the scratcher. Because we were told by senior leadership to pat ourselves on the back.
It was almost dad-joke level. But most of them ended up in the back store room.
Lotto tickets? Huge hit
You'll likely get them something they'll never use or need. I made the choice a few years ago to give $x/person to a charity and I ask the people to choose what charity.
