I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

Need help deciding if this offer is worth moving for. Received an offer from Booz Allen Hamilton for an Associate level Sr. Systems Engineer in Los Angeles for $135k base. I countered $150k and a $15k singing bonus and asked if I could be brought on as a lead associate since I've been a lead/manager for a while in my current company.
Current company TC: $125k in Utah.
YOE: 7 with M.S. and MBA
Is the switching cost/risk and higher COL worth it?

The singular bit of leverage Russia has is oil exports. Why on earth would they do anything to risk them? What would be gained by such a move?
A nuke anywhere would more than likely trigger armaggedon
Any nuke, will trigger a direct attack to neutralize the attacker.
Nuclear weapons are wild, and can’t be contained even with tactical, small quantities. Weather can contaminate areas across the globe. Putin & down to the actual soldier involved in deploying a nuke will have to be completely foolish to do so.
There have been 2 instances in the past, one during cuban missile crisis, and the other during a nato exercise, that a one/small group of individuals have stopped a nuclear war from happening even when their command wanted to.

If North Sea oil and gas was knocked out, where would Europe gets supply? Do they want to forget heating, electricity, cooking all together and return to Stone Age?
Serious question. Why don't the special forces of all these allied countries sneak into Russia and destroy all their nuclear forces? They seem to be quite preoccupied with losing in Ukraine.

Are they going to sneak aboard nuclear submarines?

Attacking infrastructure in any nuclear power is an act of war, period.
If Putin is saying that sanctions are an act of war, physically attacking an asset of any NATO power is definitely one. Russia would be glassed and a healthy number of Nato/US cities will be evaporated as well.
This is why even with the current conflict, nobody has launched missiles at anybody directly. The US has the power today to delete Russia, but the cost of even one missle that can't be blocked, hitting a nothing city like Toledo Ohio, is too high for us to pay.
Hey. Toledo is cool.
